Interactive drag and drop game focussing on adverbs of time. The game contains thirty adverbs / adverbial phrases but will randomly select ten each time it is opened and arrange them in random order. Should never quite be the same exercise twice. Will work on IW or PC.
Practise of key language relating to asking directions, followed by a playscript, in which Britney Spears asks the characters from Scooby Doo for directions. The location of the station remains a mystery.
The first text is about a Grundschullehrer who answered a pupil's question about Father Christmas with the truth. The second text is a weather report covering the prospects of there being a white Christmas. Both texts are followed by questions in English.
Batman describes his holiday in France with Catwoman, simultaneously modelling the use of the Perfect Tense with haben and sein. The stimulus text is followed by (i) a richtig / falsch / nicht im Text exercise, (ii) a 'find the phrase' exercise, (iii) pupil reflection on the choice of haben or sein, (iv) an explanation of the use of haben or sein, (v) a manipulation exericise focussing on the Perfect, and (vi) three writing tasks.

An extended text describing and analysing key decision points for the main characters in Das Leben der Anderen, followed by a summary exercise which should help students gain an overview of cause and effect and provide a useful tool for revision.
To create this text I have edited down a more complex analysis of Wiesler and Sieland found on wedding-music-and-more.de and interwoven additional material on Dreyman written by Isabella Langheim. I made up the summary task.

A text about heart-throb Justin Bieber followed by questions in German. Amongst other things, the text reveals why Justion Bieber has a German surname.
Text based on internet threads about the idea of introducing school uniform in Germany. Text is followed by comprehension questions in English, a "find the phrases" exercise and a text manipulation exercise. Hopefully, this will provide students with some useful language for commenting on school uniform in their own school.

24 questions on the topics of tourism and the environment. The first slide acts as a homepage. Students choose a letter and then are hyperlinked to a question. Creates an element of unpredictability to the questioning and might be useful for students preparing for their speaking exam.
